Lowry Added to All Points West. . .Fall Tour Announced

Lowry has been added to The All Points West Festival this August in Liberty State Park. The show includes the biggest names in music today including Radiohead, Cat Power & Jack Johnson.

Lowry kicks off the festival on Friday.

The band is announcing it's fall tour in support of their newest album "Love is Dead". The tour is expected to include two legs, one in September and another in October. The first leg will consist of dates in the Northern United States and the second leg will cover the South.

Lowry to Sign With Engine Room Recordings

Lowry today announced its intention to sign with Engine Room Recordings, an indie Label and full professional recording facility in downtown New York City. The deal will likely span the course of 2 records with an option for more recordings at the end of 3 years.

The band makes this announcement as it prepares to release it's new LP "Love is Dead" this fall. A soft release is expected sometime this summer and records are expected to hit shelves nationally in September.

In the meantime, the band is collectively gathering momentum for a full national tour this fall including dates overseas. The band has leaked one song from the new LP. It can be heard at myspace.com/lowry.

The record is finished. The title is 'love is dead'. The band is preparing for a short tour of the south this March. The national release date for the record is tentatively set for Fall 2008.

New Shows Added

Lowry has added a couple of nights to their winter schedule. Those include a Monday night show with All Night Chemists at The Mercury Lounge in NYC, The Brillo Box in Pittsburgh and Union Pool in Williamsburg. Those dates can be found on the 'touring' page.

The band's touring schedule will be lite this winter as they enter the studio at the beginning of December. Look for the new record at the end of January 2008.
